We are headquartered in Los Angeles with a design space and field residence near Palm Springs, California, a field residence in Beijing, and an office in Pondicherry, India. However, we have conducted research just about everywhere.

Besides our full-time staff in China and in the USA, we have strategic partners, like Gemic for design research in Europe and Russia and Dawn Rivers Baker, for research on micro-business. Our researchers include experienced ethnographers, photographers, analysts, and videographers. We can deliver complex international research and design projects wherever they are needed, in-country and in-language.
